TEAM SIX is a powerhouse duo of Baylor undergraduate women, combining musical skill with literary sensibility.

Hannah Barine, composer and pianist, is from Lewisville, TX. Her first collaboration with Lone Star Songs was in last year’s Lullaby Project, for which she wrote two lullabies based on first-person narratives from Waco residents. She just completed a song cycle based on a novel.

Emma Madsen, soprano, is also a published author. Her children’s book, “Going Outside,” grew out of a class project on Dalcroze Eurhythmics. Emma has also won prizes at the TEXOMA NATS competition, and will sing in the spring productions of Baylor Opera Theater.
